The Gundam statue is a statue located in Diver City Tokyo, Japan. It is a 1:1 model of the Gundam mobile suit from the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam. It opened in July 2009 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the anime series.
It closed at the end of August. During that time it was visited 4.15 million times. It was moved to Shizuoka City, where it stayed from July 2010 to March 2011. It reopened in Tokyo on April 19, 2012.
